We are Going from the foothills to the nations!
Missions:
Why, who, what, and how?
-
Because we are a “sent people.”
Missions is the biblical overflow of our life in Christ as we tell others about the hope we have in Christ.
-
All believers should be involved. Just as God sent Jesus into the world to seek and to save those which are lost, so Christ has sent us.
-
Missions, personally and corporately, is the ministry means by which we engage our community and the world with the Gospel for the purpose of making disciples.
-
In short, we participate by Praying, Giving, and Going.
Pray for our Ministry Partners and missions teams as they Go.
Give Sacrificially with joy as part of who you are in Christ and as an investment in the advancement of the Kingdom.
Go from the foothills to the nations with the Gospel.
What opportunities do you have?
Partner Care Ministry
Our Partner Care Ministry pairs up church members and their Life Groups with one of our Ministry Partners serving here in the US or around the world. The purpose of this Ministry is to encourage and support our partners in the difficult, and often discouraging, work of the Great Commission. This way we build relationships with our partners, share ministry updates with the church, pray for them, and participate in Mission Trips with them.
Check with your Life Group Leader to see if your Life Group is participating in this ministry!
Missions Equipping
We desire for all members to be effective and passionate advocates for the Gospel! We offer Equipping classes to familiarize you will everything Clinton FBC Missions and equip you take the Gospel across the street and around the world! We encourage the entire church to participate in one of these classes, but it is required if you are going on a mission trip.
Short-Term Missions
Part of living out our Identity in Christ, is Going across the street and around the world through short-term mission trips and outreach opportunities. These opportunities could be in our community or around the world. Consider how God is calling you to Go and make disciples!
See our upcoming trips below.
Mid-Term Missions
Our Mid-Term Missions program trains and equips members to spend a summer, a semester, or a year serving with one of our Ministry Partners. Pray about what God would call you to do with your next summer, semester, or year. We have Ministry Partners here in the US and around the world that would love for you to serve with them!
Missions Partnerships
Mosaic Church: Provo, UT
The greater metropolitan area of Provo/Orem has over 625,000 people, but only .4% identify as evangelical Christians! For reference, the International Mission Board identifies an unreached people group as anything less than 2%.
In the midst of this community, God is moving! He is opening doors for ministry through our local church plant partner and they have seen numerous people come to faith in Christ, baptized, and growing in discipleship! Most of these individuals are coming to faith through direct discipleship. This means our partner church needs help building these relationships to disciple people and make-disciples!
How can you help? Pray, Give, and Go.
PRAY: We need prayer warriors to pave the way for us. Please commit to daily praying for our team, our partners, and for those we share the Gospel with.
GIVE: We need people to Give. You can financially partner with FBC to invest in how God is moving in Provo.
GO: We need people to go. God has called us to be a sent people, and therefore we go!
Thessaloniki, Greece
Thessaloniki Greece was the home of one of the Apostle Paul’s churches. Yet today, the Biblical Gospel is rare. Only .5% of Greeks identify as Evangelical Christians. Right now, Thessaloniki is a critical hub for international missions. It is a key port and pathway into the Balkans, has one of the largest student populations in Europe with students from all over Europe, and has had a huge influx of North African and Middle Eastern refugees needing to hear the Gospel.
We are partnering with a brand new team of church planters dedicated to reaching this city with the Gospel. And we have the opportunity to start with them at the very beginning.
Over the last 20 years, Europe has become one of the hardest places in the world to do ministry with the highest attrition rate for missionaries. Despite their rich heritage and connection to the church in Acts, 99% of Europeans have not placed their faith in the Biblical Gospel of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

The Randstand, Netherlands
The Randstand megalopolis in The Netherlands consists of over 8.2 million people with only 1.3% identifying as evangelical Christians. Most people are secularists with atheistic, agnostic, or humanist worldviews. When asked about the Biblical Gospel, the typical response is that it is considered irrational, narrow-minded, bigoted, or offensive.
We are partnering with a team of church planters dedicated to planting churches in this region and raising up the next generation of missionaries as they focus on equipping and mobilizing high school and college students for international missions.
